Would you like to discover new Footpaths around Morchard Bishop?

Dear Morchard Bishop Walkers,

On the last Saturday of each month we plan to hold hosted walks to introduce you to footpaths you may not have tried.

We will meet at the Memorial Hall on Saturday 26^th September  with the walk leaving at 11.00am. Commencing at the Memorial Hall, we will walk to St Gatiens Garden to Fp64 and walk down to Rectory Gardens, from there we walk to Wood Lane and up to the Playing Fields where we join Fp62 to North Hill (Hill Barton). Walk along the road and take Fp29 to Broadridge Lane where we turn right and then walk to Fp31. Follow Fp31 out of the Parish onto another parish’s Fp4. Meeting the road turn right and walk along the road passing the wind turbine and back to Hill Barton Road where we join Fp3 through Morchard Wood, leading to Fp2 and Fp4 back to Church Street and the Memorial Hall.

Walk Approx distance is 7.4km (4.6 miles) likely to take two hours 15 minutes. It combines footpaths track, and road, there are steep descents and climbs. The walk is a longer distance and more challenging. Walking shoes or walking boots recommended. 

 Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
